Meetingbird is joining Front!

Today we're excited to announce that Meetingbird has been acquired by Front, the email collaboration platform for teams.

When we founded Meetingbird in our college dorm rooms 2 years ago, our mission was to help teams accomplish more by reinventing the calendar. Since then, we've made enormous progress on that vision, delivering a world-class calendar and scheduling product to tens of thousands of users.

A crucial step in working towards our vision has been bringing calendar closer to email. Traditionally, our email and calendars have been disconnected, despite the fact that tasks like scheduling depend heavily on email. With this in mind, we launched our Front integration a few months ago, connecting Meetingbird's calendar and scheduling functionality to Front's industry-leading team email platform. The integration's amazing reception from Front and Meetingbird users alike further convinced us of the powerful potential of having your calendar and email united in your inbox.

As we discussed opportunities to expand the integration with the Front team, it became clear that we could accelerate our vision of reinventing the calendar by joining Front. As members of Front's world-class team, we'll build on our momentum at Meetingbird by launching a better calendar for teams within Front's fast-growing inbox platform. In the meantime, Meetingbird will continue to be available for all customers via our Chrome extension, web application, and Front integration.

At this exciting milestone, we want to say a sincere thank you to all of our users. Your feedback has shaped Meetingbird into the product it is today, and we're thrilled to continue serving you as members of the Front team. To our believers: Keith, Delian, Jason, Kevin, Kat, Jared, Gustaf, Sumeet, Peter, Natalie, Boris, Nitesh and countless others - this incredible journey wouldn't have been possible without your support. And to our new teammates at Front, we're excited to get to work!

Thank you,
